North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve is one of my absolute favorite places on the planet. Every spring, my friends and I make our pilgrimage to the 33,000-acre basalt mesa in Butte County to see the incredible wildflowers in bloom. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I had to take this year’s hike by myself. I missed my friends, but the beautiful scenery, sunshine and fresh air did wonders for my spirit. No problem social distancing out here! This was also the first year I stayed to catch the sunset. As you’ll see, it did not disappoint. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Stay safe, friends!
